Veteran wide receiver Andre Johnson agreed to terms with the Tennessee Titans on Friday.

The Titans did not disclose terms of the deal, but sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter that Johnson will sign a two-year contract. Johnson is owed $2.5 million this season by Indianapolis but had offset language in his contract with the Colts, according to ESPN.

Johnson, 35, is nearing the end of a superb career that has seen him collect 1,053 receptions for 14,100 yards and 68 touchdown catches.

Johnson ranks eighth in NFL history in receptions, nine in receiving yardage and 13th in touchdown receptions. He is a seven-time Pro Bowler.

Johnson played his first 12 seasons with the Houston Texans, topping 1,500 receiving yards on three occasions and having seven overall seasons of more than 1,000 yards.

Johnson caught over 100 passes five different times, including as recently as a 109-catch season in 2013.

Johnson displayed signs of decline last season when he had just 41 receptions for 503 yards and four touchdowns for the Colts.

Part of the drop-off may have been attributable to the injury issues of Colts quarterback Andrew Luck, but Johnson also struggled to find his niche with the team.

Johnson visited the Titans on Tuesday and head coach Mike Mularkey said the reciever "still looks like he can play."

"But you look at what the player has done the prior year, and obviously he's had a very successful 13 years in the league," Mularkey said Wednesday during a radio interview on 102.5-FM in Nashville. "He knows how to do something right. He knows how to get open, he knows how to catch it, still."

The Titans will practice for the first time in training camp on Saturday.
