Linebackers Terrell Suggs and Elvis Dumervil and receiver Steve Smith Jr. are among six players who will start the Baltimore Ravens' training camp on the physically unable to perform list.

Also placed on the list were receiver Breshad Perriman, running back Trent Richardson and cornerback Jumal Rolle, the team announced Saturday.

A player placed on the PUP list can be activated at any point during training camp. But if they are still on the list at the start of the regular season, they must sit out the first six games.

Quarterback Joe Flacco (knee) wasn't on the list so he will be available for the team's first full-squad practice on Thursday.

Suggs and Smith are recovering from Achilles' tendon injuries while Dumervil underwent offseason foot surgery. Perriman missed last season with a right knee injury and later suffered a left knee injury in the offseason.

Richardson is progressing from knee and hamstring injuries and Rolle will miss this season due to a torn Achilles' tendon.
