Chad Johnson is headed to Cleveland later this month to do some coaching.

The former 11-year NFL wide receiver will help new Browns head coach Hue Jackson, a former assistant in Cincinnati who worked with Johnson from 2004 to 2006, with the team's receivers during training camp.

Johnson has actively used Twitter to praise the Browns for hiring Jackson. He had been asking for a chance to come to Cleveland and Jackson finally obliged. The team confirmed Tuesday that Johnson will be on hand to assist during training camp but stressed that he will not be there in an official capacity.

Johnson, who totaled more than 11,000 receiving yards during his career, will have his work cut out for him. The Browns have a young receiving corps that includes four 2016 draft picks.
