Forward Andrew Nicholson will not receive a qualifying offer from the Orlando Magic and will become an unrestricted free agent, according to a report by ESPN.

Nicholson, 26, averaged 6.9 points in 56 games last season, his most since averaging 7.8 points per game as a rookie in 2012-13. He has spent his first four seasons in Orlando after being selected with the 19th overall pick out of St. Bonaventure.

Nicholson made 41 three-pointers last season, connecting on 36 percent of his attempts from behind the arc, but the Magic attempted to trade him before the deadline and he ultimately fell out of the rotation.

Nicholson would have received a qualifying offer worth $3.394,726. He signed a four-year, $6.83 million deal before his rookie season, and earned $2.38 million last season.
