Notre Dame Fighting Irish offensive lineman Parker Boudreaux continues to recover after being admitted to the hospital with an undisclosed medical condition Sunday, but is expected to make a full recovery.

Concern over Boudreaux's health was raised when teammate Scott Daly tweeted that the freshman had a serious brain infection and asked for prayers. Daly later tweeted: "Apologize for alarming everyone "Didn't have all the information. Parker is going to be OK. Excited for him to be back with us soon."

Notre Dame spokesman Michael Bertsch later told the South Bend Tribune that Boudreaux "is in stable condition and resting comfortably."

A three-star recruit, Boudreaux tweeted Sunday, "Not doing that well. Thank you for all the prayers .. I really do appreciate it."

He gave a brief update Monday, tweeting, "God Bless y'all. Thank you guys for all the love... Feeling a little bit better than yesterday."

While Boudreaux's exact ailment has not been disclosed, he did re-tweet a tweet that said. "Boudreaux had been admitted to a South Bend hospital with what is thought to be meningitis." It appears the meningitis is viral, rather than the bacterial meningitis that can be fatal.

He is expected to be hospitalized through at least mid-week.
