Mexican star Alan Pulido kidnapped

Mexican soccer star Alan Pulido was kidnapped early Sunday morning, according to published reports.

Pulido, 25, reportedly went missing after leaving a party in his hometown of Ciudad Victoria, which is located in the northern border state of Tamaulipas.

Federal agents were searching for Pulido on Sunday.

Authorities haven't divulged details of the kidnapping or the motive.

Pulido is a forward for Olympiacos of Greece and was a member of Mexico's 2014 World Cup team.
