Floyd was the No. 9 overall draft pick, and the Bears traded up two spots to get him.

Floyd had 17 sacks in three seasons at Georgia. He played both defensive end and outside linebacker in college snd will occupy an outside linebacker spot in the Bears' 3-4 defense.

Lamarr Houston led the Bears with eight sacks last season, and the Bears hope Floyd will improve their pass rush.

The Bears have agreed to terms with eight of their nine 2016 draft picks. Third-round pick defensive end Jonathan Bullard is the lone 2016 draftee yet to sign.
