2016 All-NBA first team selected: Stephen Curry, LeBron James chosen for 10th time

Golden State guard Stephen Curry was a unanimous selection to the All-NBA first team and Cleveland forward LeBron James was chosen first-team for the 10th time, the NBA announced Thursday.

Curry received all 129 first-place votes after earlier being named unanimous MVP of the league. Curry and James were joined on the first team by Oklahoma City guard Russell Westbrook, San Antonio forward Kawhi Leonard and Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan.

James is the ninth player in NBA history to make the first team 10 or more times. The record of 11 is shared by Kobe Bryant and Karl Malone.

Curry, the two-time MVP, made the first team for the second straight season. Westbrook, Leonard and Jordan are all first-time selections.

Named to the second team were Oklahoma City forward Kevin Durant, Golden State forward Draymond Green, Los Angeles Clippers guard Chris Paul, Sacramento center DeMarcus Cousins and Portland guard Damian Lillard.

The third team consists of Detroit center Andre Drummond, Golden State guard Klay Thompson, Indiana forward Paul George, Toronto guard Kyle Lowry and San Antonio forward LaMarcus Aldridge.
