Toronto Raptors forward DeMarre Carroll is day-to-day with a left wrist contusion.

Carroll landed hard on his wrist in the final minutes of the third quarter of Wednesday's Game 5 win over the Miami Heat. As he rolled to his back, Carroll immediately clutched his left wrist in pain and was tended to on the court by trainers.

Carroll, in his first season with Toronto, suffered a torn ACL in his knee in the 2015 postseason.

Toronto will list him as questionable for Game 6 at Miami on Friday and treat him "symptomatically" leading up to the game.

Injuries have impacted the closely contested Eastern Conference second-round series. Miami did not

Carroll, who had six points, six rebounds and four personal fouls in 26 minutes, did not return to Wednesday's game.

Heat forward Luol Deng, who had four points, left the game earlier in the second half with a wrist injury. An MRI exam on Thursday revealed Deng has a bruised wrist and he is listed as questionable for Game 6.

Miami center Hassan Whiteside did not travel to Toronto for Game 5. Spoelstra says Whiteside stayed in Miami for rest and therapy on his injured knee. The Heat seven-footer also was held out of Game 4 and is listed day-to-day with a sprained medial collateral ligament.

Toronto center Jonas Valanciunas has been ruled out for the remainder of the series with an ankle injury.

The winner of the Eastern Conference semifinal series draws top-seeded Cleveland in the conference finals.
