Quarterback EJ Manuel, who started 10 games for the Buffalo Bills as a rookie after being the No. 15 overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, did not have his fifth-year option for 2017 picked by the Bills, multiple media outlets reported Monday.
Manuel's playing time and status have gone down each season. After starting 10 games in 2013, he started four games in 2014 and just two games last season. His only two starts in 2015 came because Tyrod Taylor was injured, and Buffalo lost both those games.
