Eight prime-time games, including the Green Bay Packers and Indianapolis Colts in the Pro Football Hall of Fame game on Aug. 7, headline the NFL's preseason schedule released Thursday.
The second game of the preseason features the Rams in their return to Los Angeles against the Dallas Cowboys (Aug. 13, ESPN).
Super Bowl champion Denver opens the preseason at Soldier Field against the Chicago Bears and former Broncos head coach John Fox. The Broncos won at Chicago in November in Brock Osweiler's first career start, but they will have a multiple new faces behind center this season.
The Jets and Giants, who share MetLife Stadium, both open at home in Week 1 of the preseason.
Week 3 of the preseason, which runs Aug. 25-28, has six national broadcast games -- three in Florida -- and is the point of the exhibition schedule when most teams allow their starting personnel to play into the second half.
The Jacksonville Jaguars host the Cincinnati Bengals (Aug. 28, NBC) with the Atlanta Falcons at the Miami Dolphins (Aug. 25, NBC) and the Cleveland Browns traveling to Raymond James Stadium to take on 2015 No. 1 overall pick Jameis Winston and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Aug. 26, CBS).
