One of the game's more dominant pass rushers, outside linebacker Aldon Smith reportedly has agreed to a new deal with the Oakland Raiders, even though he is currently serving a yearlong suspension.

Smith was seen at the team's headquarters Monday where is allegedly working out the final details of the new deal.

Smith spent the 2015 season with Oakland after being released by San Francisco and compiled 28 tackles and 3.5 sacks in nine games.

In September, he pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor counts of hit-and-run, drunken driving and vandalism, charges that stemmed from an incident on Aug. 6.

He was suspended for a year on Nov. 17.

Smith will be eligible to apply for reinstatement 60 days before the one-year anniversary of the suspension.

Smith spent his first four seasons with the San Francisco 49ers where he recorded 43 sacks in 42 games.

While with the 49ers, Smith had multiple run-ins with law enforcement and was arrested four times. San Francisco finally released last year after his DUI and hit-and-run arrest in August.
