One of those players will be selected the winner of the Wooden Award, given annually to the top player in the country. The announcement will be made April 8 in Los Angeles. A women's Wooden Award recipient will be announced that day, too.

According to Los Angeles Athletic Club, each of the members of the All-American team must be making progress toward graduation while maintaining at least a 2.0 grade-point average.

LSU freshman sensation Ben Simmons was not among the final 15 players up for the Wooden Award, reportedly because his academics were lacking.
