Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Troy Tulowitzki was hit by a pitch on his right hand but X-rays showed no broken bones.

Tulowitzki is day-to-day with a bone bruise, and could sit for a few days to recover.

Tulowitzki was hit near the knuckle by pitch thrown by Mets starter Bartolo Colon. He walked toward first base but left the field with the training staff.

In his first spring with the Blue Jays since being acquired from the Colorado Rockies in July 2015, Tulowitzki is leading the team in home runs (four) and RBIs (10).
