The San Diego Chargers re-signed versatile offensive lineman Chris Hairston to a two-year deal Wednesday.

The 6-foot-6, 330-pound Hairston joined the Chargers on a one-year contract in 2015 and became one of the team's most valuable performers on the offensive line.

Hairston, 26, played in all 16 games and started in 11 last season. Because of injuries on San Diego's offensive line, Hairston played left tackle, left guard, right tackle and right guard at various times during the season.

Hairston was a 2011 fourth-round pick by the Buffalo Bills.
