Seattle Seahawks agree to deal with OL J'Marcus Webb

By The Sports Xchange

Free agent offensive guard J'Marcus Webb agreed to a contract with the Seattle Seahawks on Tuesday. Terms were not immediately available.

Webb, 27, was a seventh-round pick in 2010 by the Chicago Bears and played primarily right tackle in that system. He was cut in 2013 and signed with the Vikings before joining the Raiders, who used him at guard in 2015.

The Seahawks have an impressive track record with offensive linemen under position coach Tom Cable, who could have his work cut out for him in 2016.

J.R. Sweezy signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to create an opening for a starting guard and left tackle Russell Okung is shopping his services in free agency.
