Free agent Taylor Mays facing four-game ban

Free agent safety Taylor Mays is facing a four-game suspension to being the 2016 season.

Mays violated the NFL policy on substances of abuse according to multiple reports.


The Raiders have not made an effort to bring Mays back but the Minnesota Vikings reportedly showed tepid interest.

The former USC safety started five games for the Raiders last season and played in 14 games. He was a second-round pick of the San Francisco 49ers in 2010 and was traded to the Raiders after one season.
