The Philadelphia Eagles and quarterback Sam Bradford reportedly agreed to a two-year, $36 million contract on Tuesday. The deal prevented Bradford from becoming a free agent. ESPN reports that the agreement includes $26 million in guaranteed money.

Bradford started 14 games for the Eagles last season. He passed for 3,725 yards, 19 touchdowns and 14 interceptions in 2015.
The 28-year-old was acquired from the St. Louis Rams before last season in exchange for quarterback Nick Foles and a second-round draft pick in 2016.
Chip Kelly was released as coach with one game remaining last season, leaving Bradford with an unclear future.
However, new coach Doug Pederson referred to Bradford as a "perfect fit" for the offense he plans to install.
Bradford was the first overall pick by the Rams in 2010. He passed for 3,512 yards and 18 touchdowns as a rookie before dealing with injuries in three of the next four seasons.
He twice tore the ACL in his left knee and the second occurrence prompted him to miss the entire 2014 season.
