Ty Dillon will serve as a replacement driver for Tony Stewart in the No. 14 Stewart-Haas Racing Chevrolet on Sunday in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Stewart-Haas Racing confirmed Tuesday.
Stewart is sidelined indefinitely after breaking his back in an all-terrain vehicle accident Jan. 31.
Dillon, who turns 24 on Saturday, has driven in eight Sprint Cup races in his career. He drove in a car owned by Leavine Family Racing in the Daytona 500 and finished 25th.
Brian Vickers, who served as Stewart's interim driver in the Daytona 500, will be Stewart's substitute driver in the March 6 race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
