Super Bowl parade set for Tuesday in Denver

The Broncos will celebrate their Super Bowl 50 victory with a parade in downtown Denver on Tuesday.

A day of celebration follows the Broncos' 24-10 win Sunday night over the Carolina Panthers.

The parade will kick off at noon in Denver, ending with a rally at Civic Center Park.

Broncos players and coaches, Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper and Denver Mayor Michael Hancock are expected to attend.

After the Broncos won their first Super Bowl title with a 31-24 win over the Green Bay Packers in January 1998, an estimated 650,000 attended the parade and rally, according to the Denver Post. The following year, an estimated 375,000 came out to celebrate the 34-19 Super Bowl win over the Atlanta Falcons.

The Denver Post printed 110,000 extra copies of its Monday newspaper after the Broncos' third Super Bowl win. During Tuesday's parade, the Post also will be selling newspapers from the Super Bowl run.
