"It's an exciting time to be a Diamondback," Pollock told MLB.com. "I'm glad to get the business side taken care of and focus on helping this team win."

Arizona will pay Pollock $3.5 million this year. The 28-year-old will receive $6.75 million in 2017.

Pollock had asked for $3.9 million and had been offered $3.65 million as part of the arbitration process.
