Stephen Curry sustained a bruised right calf Wednesday, but the minor ailment won't keep the reigning NBA Most Valuable Player out of the Golden State Warriors' showdown with the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday.

The star guard was hurt when fouled by Utah guard Rodney Hood in the third quarter of the Warriors' 103-85 victory Wednesday. Curry briefly left the game but came back to play in the fourth quarter.

"It's bruised, but that's about it," Curry said at practice Thursday in Oakland, Calif. "(I'm) just fine."

The bigger injury concern for Golden State is forward Harrison Barnes, who hasn't played since Nov. 27 due to a high ankle sprain. Barnes is considered doubtful for the Friday game despite participating in three-on-three drills Thursday.

Curry is averaging a league-high 31.2 points per game in addition to 6.3 assists per game.

Barnes has played in just 17 of the Warriors' 28 games. He is averaging a career-high 13.4 points plus five rebounds in 30.1 minutes per game.

The Warriors (27-1) and Cavaliers (19-7) are set to meet for the first time since Golden State beat Cleveland in six games during the NBA Finals. Golden State will put its 30-game home streak on the line in the contest at Oracle Arena.
