Oscar Pistorius faces 15 years in prison for the murder of his girlfriend in 2013, the Supreme Court of Appeal in South Africa ruled on Thursday.
The court overturned a conviction of the double-amputee Olympian on the lesser charge of manslaughter for shooting girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp to death in 2013. Pistorius claimed he fired toward a door fearing an intruder entered his home.
