New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola is expected to miss Sunday night's game in Denver against the Broncos because of a knee injury.

Amendola, who injured his left knee in Monday night's 20-13 win over the Buffalo Bills, has been limited in practice all week. He was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report.

Amendola did not travel with the Patriots to Denver on Saturday, according to reports.

With receivers Julian Edelman (broken foot) and Aaron Dobson (injured reserve) out and others ailing, the Patriots are down to two healthy wide receivers -- Brandon LaFell and undrafted free agent Chris Harper.

Amendola caught nine passes for 117 yards on Monday night in his first game as the primary possession target with Edelman out.
