Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig was involved in an alleged altercation that involved his sister, the Los Angeles Times reported Friday.

Major League Baseball is investigating Puig under its domestic violence policy after an argument and altercation apparently broke out Wednesday night at the Blue Martini bar. According to TMZ, Puig shoved his sister.

Puig allegedly resisted when bouncers asked him to leave and a fight ensued. According to the reports, Puig fought with a bouncer and suffered minor bumps and bruises on his face and a swollen left eye.

A Los Angeles police spokesman said none of those involved sought to press charges.

The Dodgers offered no comment Friday night and neither did Puig's agent when contacted by the Times.

The 24-year-old Puig batted .255 with 11 home runs and 38 RBIs in 2015. Hamstring injuries restricted the Cuban defector to 79 games last season.

Puig has been involved in several other off-the-field incidents while playing for the Dodgers.
