The Ravens placed Joe Flacco on injured reserve with torn ligaments in his knee.

A six-year NFL veteran, Clausen was waived by Chicago on Monday (Nov. 23) after seeing action in two games (one start) this season. The Bears opted to elevate David Fales from the practice squad rather than keep Clausen.

In two games this season, Clausen completed 23 of 40 passes for 184 yards, zero touchdowns and one interception.

Clausen started one game in 2014 under Trestman and completed 23 of 39 passes for 181 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.

Originally a second-round draft choice by the Carolina Panthers in 2010, Clausen has played in 19 career games (12 starts), completing 206 of 387 attempts for 1,965 yards, five touchdowns and 11 interceptions. The 6-2, 210-pounder out of Notre Dame started a career-high 10 games as a rookie in 2010.
