Buccaneers acquire DE Kourtnei Brown via waivers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced Tuesday they have been awarded defensive end Kourtnei Brown via waivers from the Houston Texans.

Brown (6-foot-4, 253 pounds) played one game while on Tampa Bay's active roster earlier this season and played one game with Houston.

He originally entered the NFL as a college free agent with the San Francisco 49ers in 2012, spending the offseason and preseason with them, before being waived.

He has also spent time with the Washington Redskins, Buffalo Bills, Detroit Lions and St. Louis Rams.
