49ers sign QB, LB to practice squad

The San Francisco 49ers on Tuesday signed quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson and linebacker Kevin Snyder to the team's practice squad.

Bethel-Thompson originally signed with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent in 2011. Following his release from the team he spent time with the Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings and New England Patriots practice squads.

He is a native of San Francisco.

Snyder originally signed with the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent in May. He was placed on the Injured Reserve List on Aug. 25 and later waived on Oct. 13.
