PITTSBURGH - Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger threw some passes during warmups before the game against the San Diego Chargers Monday night, but head coach Mike Tomlin said there was no update on his status.

However, Roethlisberger said on his weekly radio show on 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh that he hopes to take part in some 7-on-7 work on a limited basis this week.

Roethlisberger sprained the MCL in his right knee when the Steelers played in St. Louis on Sept. 27. The injury was expected to take 4-to-6 weeks to heal.

--Running back Le'Veon Bell on the fourth-and-1 call with five seconds remaining: "Once I knew we had a timeout left, I knew we were going for it. I knew the play was going to get called. We were talking about it all week."

Eleven days after the Steelers did not give Bell the ball when they faced third- and fourth-and-1 against the Ravens in overtime, offensive coordinator Todd Haley gave his All-Pro running back the ball and gave him the chance to win the game.

This one is one of my most remarkable wins. I don't know what's going on. I'm just proud to wear the black and gold."
