The Buffalo Bills today released running back Bryce Brown on Tuesday and used the roster spot for defensive tackle Marcell Dareus.
Dareus returns this week after a one-game suspension.

Brown played in seven games for the Bills last year but was inactive for the season-opening 27-14 win last weekend over the Indianapolis Colts as Buffalo's fourth running back.
Brown gained 302 total yards during his brief stay in Buffalo. He was deemed expendable after the Bills acquired running back LeSean McCoy during the offseason and Karlos Williams emerged as the backup.
RB Bryce Brown has been released from the Bills.
