NEW YORK, Aug. 28 (UPI) -- The New York Giants' Odell Beckham Jr. made his debut as the newest spokesman for Head and Shoulders shampoo with a motivational promotion this week.

The clip features Beckham (and his memorable locks) as he lists everything shoulders carry, including "your team's ambition, your city's pride...your fans' admiration," and more. One things shoulders aren't meant to carry? Dandruff.

The Giants wide receiver replaces retired Steelers player Troy Polamalu as the NFL's official shampoo brand's spokesman.

"I don't think my hair is as good as Troy's," Beckham -- who sports a two-toned style -- told ESPN about Polamalu's iconic mane. "But hopefully I can one day live up to his reputation."

On top of his deal with Head and Shoulders, Beckham reportedly signed on with Steiner Sports for an exclusive autograph deal. He's also appearing on Madden NFL 16's cover and has appeared in Foot Locker and Lenovo commercials.

"It's been a crazy off-season," Beckham said, "and I feel really blessed and fortunate to do things I have done."
