Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy limped off the practice field on Tuesday with what is being called a hamstring injury.

The extent of the injury is not yet known.

"LeSean McCoy has a hamstring injury," Bills head coach Rex Ryan told Joe Buscaglia of WKBW in Buffalo. "The hamstring is intact, not off the bone. We're getting an MRI on it."

McCoy suffered the injury while going through non-contact, seven-on-seven drills.

If he misses significant time, it will be a major blow to the Bills. McCoy rushed for 1,319 yards last season for the Philadelphia Eagles, who traded him to Buffalo in the offseason.
