Running back Knowshon Moreno apparently has not signed with a team because his knee is not healthy, and he reportedly will not play this season.

Moreno, who suffered a torn ACL last October while playing with the Miami Dolphins, will sit out the 2015 season because his "knee isn't right," Mike Jurecki of FOX Sports 910 reported Saturday.

Moreno, 28, signed a one-year, $3.275 million contract with the Dolphins last year, but offseason knee surgery and an elbow injury limited him early in the season, and then he suffered a torn ACL against the Green Bay Packers in Week 6 and was placed on injured reserve.

Moreno ran for 148 yards and one touchdown in three games for the Dolphins.

Injuries often held him back during his five years in Denver as well. The 2009 first-round pick rushed for 3,468 yards and 26 touchdowns in 60 games with the Broncos. His best season was 2013, when he gained 1,586 yards from scrimmage and scored 13 times.
