Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel was limited in Tuesday's training camp practice.

Coach Mike Pettine spoke to media after the workout and said Manziel had a "little elbow soreness."

Pettine does not believe the injury is serious and expects Manziel to play in Thursday's preseason opener against the Washington Redskins.

Manziel threw passes with his left hand, wearing a sleeve on his right, and did mostly handoffs in team drills. Connor Shaw took the majority of the second-team snaps behind Josh McCown, who was the first-team quarterback.

Manziel had ice on his right elbow after practice Monday but said that was not out of the ordinary.
