BOSTON -- Third baseman Pablo Sandoval was hit by a pitch on the left forearm in the fourth inning and immediately left the Boston Red Sox's game against the Chicago White Sox on Thursday night at Fenway Park.

Sandoval, who also left Wednesday night's game in the fifth inning because of dehydration, took a fastball off the forearm while swinging at an 0-2 pitch for the final out of the fourth. He was diagnosed with a left forearm contusion.
