ST. LOUIS -- All-Star left fielder Matt Holliday of the St. Louis Cardinals left Wednesday night's game against the Cincinnati Reds after one inning, the victim of his second right quad strain in less than two months.
Holliday, attempting to beat out a double play ball in the bottom of the first, appeared to start limping two-thirds of the way to first. Holliday got to the bag before the relay throw, but missed the base and limped directly into the dugout.
