Grizzlies acquire Ridnour from Magic

The Memphis Grizzlies acquired guard Luke Ridnour from the Orlando Magic on Wednesday in exchange for the draft rights to Latvian Janis Timma.

Ridnour, 34, averaged four points and two assists in 47 games for the Magic last season. In his 12-year career with the SuperSonics, Bucks, Timberwolves, Bobcats and Magic, Ridnour has averaged 9.3 points and 4.5 assists in 830 games.

Timma, 22, was selected with the final pick in the 2013 NBA Draft. The 6- foot-7 forward averaged 12.7 points and 6.0 rebounds in 20 games for VEF Riga in the Latvian Basketball League last season.
