Mets put Goeddel on DL

The New York Mets placed relief pitcher Erik Goeddel on the 15-day disabled list due to a strained right elbow.

Goeddel has a 1.96 ERA this year. Has has been unscored upon in 20 of his 22 games.

The Mets also recalled infielder Danny Muno from Triple-A Las Vegas.
