Rays' Odorizzi exits with left oblique tightness

Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Jake Odorizzi left Friday's game against the Mariners with left oblique tightness.

With two on and one out in the fifth, the right-hander threw his first pitch to Logan Morrison then appeared to be favoring his left side.

Odorizzi walked off the mound and went straight through the dugout to the clubhouse. The score was 0-0 at the time.

Left-hander Xavier Cedeno took over for Odorizzi.
