Denver Broncos' Clady tears ACL

Peyton Manning will have to make do without his blind-side protector for the 2015 season, as the Denver Broncos announced that Pro Bowl left tackle Ryan Clady tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during Wednesday's OTA session.

The injury is likely to sideline Clady, who earned his fourth career Pro Bowl nod last season, for the entire 2015 campaign.

Denver does have an experienced option for the left side in projected starting right tackle Chris Clark, who started 14 games as well as Super Bowl XLVIII in Clady's place during the 2013 season. Clady missed all but two games that year due to a Lisfranc injury.

The Broncos also selected Colorado State tackle Ty Sambrailo in the second round of this year's draft.

Clady, Denver's longest tenured player, has started all 98 games he's appeared in during his seven seasons with the club. The 2008 first-round pick was also named to the Pro Bowl following the 2009, 2011 and 2012 seasons.
