San Francisco Giants out-slug Milwaukee Brewewers

Hunter Pence, Matt Duffy and Brandon Belt all hit home runs in the San Francisco Giants' 6-3 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday.

Madison Bumgarner (6-2) picked up his third straight win after allowing all three runs on four hits in six innings of work. The southpaw walked a pair, giving him 30 straight starts dating back to last July 13 without walking more than two batters in a game.

Brewers starter Matt Garza (2-7) was responsible for five runs on eight hits over five innings to fall to 0-4 at home.

Pence set the tone for the Giants by crushing a solo homer out to center in the top of the first.

Bumgarner's walk with one out in the third led to San Francisco's second run. He moved to second on Nori Aoki's single and scored when Joe Panik doubled to center.

Brandon Crawford and Gregor Blanco hit consecutive doubles in the fourth and Duffy followed with a two-run homer to extend the lead to 5-0.

The Brewers finally got to Bumgarner in the fifth, when Aramis Ramirez connected on his sixth homer of the season. Then in the sixth, two more runs came across on Ryan Braun's double and a Ramirez sacrifice fly.

With Braun on third and two outs, Hector Gomez ripped a liner that was destined for left field before Crawford made a diving catch to end the inning.

Belt's solo shot to the second deck in right field a half-inning later made it 6-3, and three Giants relievers kept Milwaukee from scoring the rest of the way.

Santiago Casilla allowed two hits in the ninth but finished it off for his 13th save.
