49ers sign QB Dylan Thompson

The San Francisco 49ers signed nine undrafted free agents on Tuesday, including former South Carolina quarterback Dylan Thompson.

Thompson set a South Carolina school record and led the SEC with 3,564 passing yards last season. He completed 60 percent of his passes and threw for 26 touchdowns.

Of the remaining eight undrafted free agents, five were wide receivers: Dres Anderson, Issac Blakeney, DiAndre Campbell, Darius Davis and DeAndrew White. Offensive lineman Patrick Miller, defensive lineman Marcus Rush and safety Jermaine Whitehead were also signed.
