Joc Pederson had a homer and two RBI in the Los Angeles Dodgers' 8-3 win over the San Francisco Giants on Monday night.

Brett Anderson looked good for the first four innings but couldn't finish the fifth. He was tagged for three runs on five hits and two walks in 4 2/3 innings.

Nori Aoki had two hits, an RBI and scored a run for San Francisco. Tim Lincecum (1-2) lasted only four innings after throwing 76 pitches.

Lincecum received help from his defense, as Justin Maxwell made a diving catch to save a pair of runs and end the second. But the Dodgers were able to score four runs against the right-hander an inning later.

Andre Ethier drew a leadoff walk, went to third on a single by Adrian Gonzalez and scored on a Howie Kendrick's base hit. Gonzalez, who advanced to third, scored when catcher Andrew Susac's throw bounced through shortstop Brandon Crawford's legs on a stolen base by Kendrick.

Juan Uribe later plated Kendrick with a single, and Pederson lined an RBI double off the base of the wall in right field to make it 4-0.

Anderson tossed a 1-2-3 fourth and retired the first two batters in the fifth, but a two-out walk sparked a Giants rally. Anderson gave up hits to the next three batters, resulting in two runs.

Carlos Frias (1-0) entered from the bullpen and gave up an RBI single to Angel Pagan. After walking Buster Posey to load the bases, Frias fielded a comebacker by Maxwell and threw to first for the final out.

Pederson led off the sixth with a blast to right-center field, and Turner put the game away with his drive to center in the eighth. Uribe was aboard with a single and Pederson worked a walk.
