Cincinnati Bengals extend Lewis through 2016

The Cincinnati Bengals signed head coach Marvin Lewis to a one-year extension on Wednesday.

The deal now keeps Lewis with the team through the 2016 season.

Last season, the Bengals went 10-5-1, marking the third straight double-digit win season for the Bengals.

Lewis has been with the Bengals since the 2003 season, posting a career coaching record of 100-90-2 with the team. The Bengals are 0-6 in the postseason under his leadership, including four straight one-and-done seasons.
