NBA Game Summary - Philadelphia at LA Lakers

Jeremy Lin scored a season-high 29 points to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a 101-87 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday night.

Jordan Hill tallied 12 points with eight rebounds, while Wesley Johnson and Wayne Ellington each posted 10 points for Los Angeles.

Philadelphia, which was seeking a season-high third straight win, was led by Thomas Robinson's 14-point, eight-rebound effort.

The Sixers only made one basket over the first half of the fourth quarter as Los Angeles took control of the contest. Over the first 6:06, Lin led a 14-2 run by scoring eight points to help the Lakers extend their lead to 88-77.

Philadelphia was outscored 27-12 in the final stanza as Los Angeles snapped its four-game skid.

The Sixers got off to a slow start on the offensive end, but a 7-2 run to close the first quarter gave them a 20-18 lead after 12 minutes.

Philadelphia opened the second quarter on an 8-0 run, as Robert Covington and Jerami Grant each hit a 3-pointer before Robinson's jumper made it 28-18.

Lin canned a pair of 3s moments later to bring the Lakers within four, but the Sixers would push their advantage to 47-41 at halftime.

Los Angeles started the second half on a 10-1 run to regain the lead. Ish Smith followed with five straight points for the Sixers to help them to a 53-51 edge.

The game was tight the rest of the third with Philadelphia taking a slim 75-74 edge into the fourth.
