NCAA Game Summary - Radford at Vermont

Trae Bell-Haynes led four Catamounts in double-figures with 17 points as Vermont defeated the Radford Highlanders, 78-71, in the quarterfinal round of the 2015 College Basketball Invitational at Patrick Gymnasium.

With the win, Vermont (20-13) clinched a spot in the 2015 CBI Final Four. The Catamounts will play the winner of the matchup between Oral Roberts and Loyola Chicago. Ethan O'Day contributed 16 points for Vermont, which also received 12 and 11 points courtesy of Kurt Steidl and Dre Wills, respectively.

Javonte Green paced Radford (22-12) with 24 points, 15 rebounds and five steals. R.J. Price chimed in with 13 points.

Vermont went into the break on top, 37-34, after it outrebounded the visitors, 19-12, in the opening period. The Highlanders went just 1-of-5 from beyond the arc before the break.

Radford was limited to 37.1 percent efficiency from the floor over the final 20 minutes of regulation. The Catamounts made good on 50 percent of their field goal tries after the intermission.

Vermont outscored the Highlanders, 21-13, at the free-throw line.
