San Diego Chargers add WR Stevie Johnson

Wide receiver Stevie Johnson agreed to a three-year contract with the San Diego Chargers on Tuesday.

Johnson was released by the San Francisco 49ers last week.

The 28-year-old Johnson was acquired by the 49ers in a trade with the Buffalo Bills last May and finished with 35 receptions for 435 yards and three touchdowns in 13 games last season.

A seventh-round pick of the Bills in 2008, Johnson has caught 336 passes for 4,267 yards and 31 touchdowns in 89 career games with the Bills and 49ers.
