Curry was held in check for most of the night, finishing with nine points and 11 assists on 4-of-15 shooting. It was the first time he failed to reach double figures since Nov. 21.

Detroit fell for the eighth straight game despite a monster 20-point, 27- rebound effort from Andre Drummond. Greg Monroe also netted 20 points in the setback.

Curry's behind-the-back pass to Barbosa for a corner trey late in the third capped a 12-2 run and would have sent Golden State into the fourth with a six- point lead. But the Warriors fumbled a Spencer Dinwiddie missed 3 out of bounds and Dinwiddie got another look at it, hitting from deep at the horn to make it 79-76.
