Report: Chicago Bears send Brandon Marshall to Jets

The Chicago Bears have reportedly traded wide receiver Brandon Marshall to the New York Jets.

NFL.com, citing a source informed of the move, is reporting the trade. ESPN.com is also reporting the trade, which requires Marshall passing a physical.

It cannot become official until the new league year opens next Tuesday.

What the Bears are receiving in return for Marshall is not being reported.

Marshall racked up 721 yards and eight touchdowns on 61 catches last season.

A nine-year veteran, this will be Marshall's fourth team. The five-time Pro Bowl selection has 773 career receptions for 9,771 yards with 65 touchdowns for Denver, Miami and Chicago.
