Canadiens acquire Flynn from Sabres

The Montreal Canadiens added depth at forward by acquiring Brian Flynn from the Buffalo Sabres for a fifth-round pick in the 2016 draft.

Flynn, 26, has five goals and 12 assists in 54 games this season, his third in the NHL.

The Massachusetts native has 17 goals and 24 assists in 159 career games, all with the Sabres.
